Process Control

Our engineers are expert in the implementation of discrete, regulatory, and batch process control systems.

We develop our configuration code in a modular fashion according to the ISA S88 standard. Each module is then fully tested for proper functionality. Once system configuration is complete, we use a software simulator to test the overall system.

This disciplined approach to code development minimizes errors detected in site commissioning and startup, significantly decreasing overall project costs.

Our experience is not only in DCS, PLC, and HMI configuration, but also in the integration of field devices such as hydraulic and fluid measurement and control systems, filtration systems and in-line measurement devices.

And, as an independent systems integrator, we have the expertise to interface systems from a variety of different control vendor platforms into a single, homogeneous plant-wide system.

We don’t consider the project complete until your system is performing to specification and full as-built documentation has been delivered.

Batch Management

ACA Engineering Group offers a variety of solutions to batch management and reporting challenges. These include both hard-coded batch automation and software driven flexible batch management systems.

Our engineers begin by defining the specific design that best meets the customer needs. Once our customer has approved the final design, it is implemented according to ACA and industry quality standards.

Strict ISA standards are utilized to decrease engineering effort and make the system easier to test and validate. We have successfully implemented projects with a variety of batch and recipe management systems.

Manufacturing Automation

Turnkey Solutions

ACA offers system solutions and provides our customers with turnkey system services. Our strength is in our ability to provide a one-stop-shop while providing the right solutions to our clients. The key to our solutions approach is our systems engineering procedures where conceptualization and evaluation of several possible solutions evolve into an implemented system.

From the initial concept stage, sales engineers meet with clients to analyze their specific application needs. Comprehensive system designs along with technical and price proposals are prepared for review and approval. Our system engineers develop functional specifications for the project, including the integration design required for interfacing with subsystems or ancillary equipment.

Once the system is designed, our engineers follow through with the implementation of the project, by providing the systems engineering, controls, software, documentation, equipment build, test, installation and commissioning services where required.
